Candida Esophagitis

Candida Esophagitis caused by yeast-like fungi is easily identified by small amounts of white creamlike exudates. Underlying conditions that predispose to Candida include diabetes, immunosuppressed patients (on chemotherapy, AIDS, etc.) and patients taking medications such as steroids that are immunosuppressive.
