Hiatal Hernia

Hiatal Hernia occurs when a portion of the stomach protrudes above the level of the diaphragm. Endoscopically the condition is confirmed when the cardia portion of the stomach does not fit snug around the endoscope, or as a pouch-like area just below the esophago-gastric junction
